FOLDING TOP: Describes the soft top of a convertible that can be folded away.

HYDRAULIC TOP: Describes the top of a convertible vehicle raised and lowered by a hydraulic system.  

SNAP FASTENER: Describes a securing device fitted with a projecting knob that can be securely pressed into a corresponding aperture on another part, used on some roadsters to attach the convertible top or tonneau cover.

SUNROOF: Describes an often translucent panel embedded in the roof of a car that can either tilt or slid open, first manually and later electrically, that provides extra light and ventilation for the driver and passengers.

SUNROOF APERTURE PANEL: Describes a custom-made panel designed to accommodate the sunroof guide rails and draining channels that fit below the roof panel

SUNROOF DEFLECTOR SHIELD: Describes a visor attached to the front of the sunroof to deflect the wind

SUNROOF TOP: Describes a folding canvas sunroof found in earlier saloon cars.
